BJP to Review State Poll Strategy at Core Committee Meeting in Delhi Today

DEHRADUN: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to intensify its preparations for the 2027 Uttarakhand Assembly elections, with the party’s state core committee scheduled to meet in New Delhi on Wednesday to chalk out its organisational and electoral strategy.

The meeting, to be chaired by senior party leadership, is expected to focus on strengthening the BJP’s organisational structure in the state and finalising a roadmap for the months ahead. Discussions are likely to centre on expanding the party’s outreach, reviewing preparations at the grassroots level and identifying key priorities in the run-up to the Assembly polls.

According to party sources, the core committee is expected to deliberate on strategies to reinforce the BJP’s presence across all Assembly constituencies, with particular emphasis on improving organisational coordination and ensuring effective implementation of programmes at the booth level. The leadership is also likely to assess the performance of the party’s state unit and discuss measures to further strengthen its electoral machinery.

The meeting assumes significance as the BJP has already begun early preparations for the 2027 elections. Party leaders are expected to review the progress of ongoing organisational activities and formulate plans to take the achievements of both the Central and Uttarakhand governments to the grassroots through structured public outreach campaigns.

Senior leaders from Uttarakhand are expected to attend the meeting, where discussions may also cover constituency-level feedback and future organisational programmes.
