The state government, in a Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, today expressed gratitude to President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for their guidance and inspirational messages during the recently concluded Uttarakhand’s Silver Jubilee (Rajyotsav) celebrations. The Cabinet meeting was held at the Secretariat in Dehradun.
Our correspondent reports that the Cabinet, in its resolution of thanks, stated that the motivating words of the President and Prime Minister have strengthened Uttarakhand’s resolve to progress on the path of sustainable development, public welfare, and innovation. Ministers noted that the direction provided by the national leadership will help the state move forward with renewed confidence and purpose.
The Cabinet observed that during the Silver Jubilee year of Uttarakhand’s formation, the inspiring guidance of the President and Prime Minister will play an important role in achieving the foundational objectives of statehood and ensuring inclusive and balanced development across the state. The government reiterated its commitment to work tirelessly towards these goals and to accelerate the pace of growth through innovation and participation.
The Cabinet also appealed to government employees and citizens to extend full cooperation and play an active role in the state’s development initiatives. It was emphasised that collective effort between the government and the public is essential to ensure that welfare measures reach every section of society effectively.
The meeting concluded with the Cabinet expressing confidence that the Silver Jubilee year will further strengthen the spirit of public involvement, innovation, and sustainable progress, helping Uttarakhand establish itself among the leading states of the nation in the years to come.
