Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has asked the public to cooperate with the state government in executing the River Musi Rejuvenation project and assured all support to residents who were losing their houses.

He wanted all legislators in the GHMC limits to identify residential structures and huts in buffer zones abutting the river.

Inaugurating the Bathukamma Kunta last evening in Hyderabad, he said constituencies should be developed cutting across political affiliations. He said that unless local elected representatives cooperate, the government cannot execute development works.

The Chief Minister instructed the Hyderabad Collector and officials concerned to convene a special review meeting and conduct a field inspection to enumerate the structures abutting the river in the Amberpet constituency and plan rehabilitation measures.

He also said a mini Secretariat campus will be developed in the Amberpet constituency to house all offices under one roof. The required funds will be released immediately, and permissions will be approved before December 9.
