Union Health Minister JP Nadda Reviews Dengue Preparedness in Delhi NCR Amid Rain Concerns.

Union Health Minister J P Nadda today chaired a high-level review meeting on Dengue preparedness in Delhi and the National Capital Region.

During the meeting, states have been urged to reassess their preparedness, particularly in light of the prolonged rainy season and waterlogging in certain areas.

They have also been advised to intensify Vector Control, strengthen surveillance and rapid response in Delhi and NCR. Mr Nadda emphasized the role of the community in Dengue Control.

He said, hospital readiness, Inter-Sectoral Coordination and Community Engagement is a key in dengue preparedness. India has reported 47 per cent lesser Dengue cases and 73 per cent lesser deaths in 2025 than the corresponding period of 2024.
