India Lead 3-1 Against Malaysia in Super Four Stage of Asia Cup Hockey.

India has taken a 3 -1 lead against Malaysia in the Super Four stage game being played at Rajgir International Hockey Stadium in the Asia Cup Hockey championship. After the first half ended, India had established its control over Malaysia. After the initial blow, Team India has exhibited coordinated play against Malaysia.

India registered a dominating 4-1 victory over Malaysia in the Super 4 match of the Men’s Hockey Asia Cup in Rajgir. India faced an early setback in the first quarter with Malaysia taking lead. Malaysia showed an aggressive approach and Shafiq Hassan’s terrific play provided them the first breakthrough in less than a minute after the start of play.

However, Manpreet Singh helped India bounce back in the second quarter with an equaliser. Later, Sukhjeet Singh and Shilananda Lakra joined the party and added two more goals. In the third quarter, Vivek Prasad Sagar also contributed with a brilliant goal as India made it 4-1. 

The hosts defeated Malaysia 4-1 and get back to the winning ways. For India, Manpreet Singh, Sukhjeet Singh, Shilananda Lakra, and Vivek Sagar Prasad scored one goal each. For Malaysia, Shafiq Hassan scored a goal
