IMD Forecasts Heavy Rainfall in North Bengal Over Next 6-7 Days.

The Indian Meteorological Department IMD forecasts continuous heavy rainfall over the districts of north Bengal in the next 6-7 days.

The Eastern Zonal Head Dr Habibur Rahman Biswas of the Alipore Weather Office of the IMD, informed Akashvani that due to the active Monsoon trough many places of West Bengal may receive rainfall.

Districts of South Bengal are likely to experience light to moderate scattered rainfall with thundershower.

Kolkata and adjoining areas may get sporadic light rainfall with mostly sunny sky in the coming two days.
