Punjab Police has busted a terror module linked to Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) and has apprehended two brothers along with their accomplice from Jammu and Kashmir.

Both brothers are Over Ground Workers (OGWs) of JeM. They were involved in an old case of abduction & murder of a cab driver in Mohali near Chandigarh.

They hired the cab on gunpoint and killed its driver after an altercation with him. One of the OGWs of the Jaish-e-Mohammad, Sahil Bashir, is a wanted individual in a UAPA and Arms Act case registered at police station Qalamabad, Handwara in J&K.

His brother Aijaz Ahmad was arrested earlier with a cache of weapons and materials linked to JeM.  Intensive search operations are underway to recover the mortal remains of the driver, who was thrown somewhere in the Mohali district.
