Kerala is gearing up for its grand annual festival, Thiru Onam. With the flag hoisting ceremony already held in Thiruvananthapuram, cultural events and competitions are now at their peak.
Onam fairs are in full swing across different parts of the state. The State level Onam celebrations organized by the Government will be held from September 3 to 9.
As part of the official festivities, cultural programmes are scheduled at 33 venues across Thiruvananthapuram.
Onam programmes under various District Tourism Promotion Committees are also progressing in other districts.
