Government intensified rescue operations to save trapped workers inside collapsed Silkyara Tunnel in Uttarkashi

The rescue operation to safely evacuate 41 workers trapped in collapsed Silkyara Tunnel in Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand is likely to be completed by night on Wednesday.

The rescue team has pushed the pipe into the Silkyara tunnel deep inside more than 45 meters and it is believed that the trapped workers may come out by tonight.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is also reached in Uttarkashi and is taking information about the rescue operation.

All arrangements have been completed at the Community Health Centre, Chinyalisour, to check the health of the workers.
