DEHRADUN: The government’s “Jan Jan Ki Sarkar, Jan Jan Ke Dwar” campaign continued for the second consecutive day across multiple districts, with thousands of rural residents benefiting from government welfare schemes and on-the-spot grievance redressal at justice panchayat level camps. Acting on the directions of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, district administrations organised multi department camps to ensure simplified access to public services and timely resolution of public issues.

Our correspondent reports that the Chief Minister instructed officials to strictly follow the core principles of simplification, solution, disposal and citizen satisfaction while addressing public grievances. He emphasised that camps should be organised in a systematic manner with active participation of public representatives to ensure that benefits reach people standing at the last mile of society. He also directed that camps should be repeated where necessary to resolve pending issues effectively.

Across the state, stalls of 23 departments were set up at justice panchayat camps, providing services related to health, revenue, social welfare, employment, agriculture, animal husbandry and women and child development.

Government Outreach Camp Benefits Villagers in Pauri Garhwal

Our correspondent reports that under the “Jan Jan Ki Sarkar, Jan Jan Ke Dwar” campaign, a multi department service camp was organised at the Ganga Bhogpur area of Justice Panchayat Kimsar in Yamkeshwar block of Pauri Garhwal district. The camp was held as part of the second day of the statewide outreach programme aimed at delivering government services at the grassroots level.

Officials said that stalls of 23 departments were set up during the camp. A total of 68 public complaints were received, most of which were resolved on the spot. Remaining cases were forwarded to concerned departments with instructions for prompt action.

Health department teams conducted medical check ups of 126 residents and distributed medicines. The social welfare department extended pension and other scheme benefits to eight eligible beneficiaries. The labour department registered five workers, while the revenue department issued income and caste certificates, land record copies and other services to 70 residents.

Additionally, 95 villagers benefited from various other schemes. The child development department conducted Annaprashan for two children and Godh Bharai for one woman. The camp was attended by local MLA Renu Bisht, district officials, elected representatives and villagers, our correspondent adds.

Public Grievances Addressed Through Camps in Chamoli District

Meanwhile, as part of the government’s outreach campaign, service camps were organised in the Justice Panchayats of Matai village under Nandagar block and Urgam area of Joshimath tehsil in Chamoli district.

Our correspondent reports that 369 public grievances were addressed during the camps. At Matai village, held under the chairmanship of Additional District Magistrate Vivek Prakash, 218 complaints were received, of which 198 were resolved on the spot. In Urgam, under the supervision of Sub Divisional Magistrate Chandrashekhar Vashisht, 256 complaints were registered and 171 were disposed of immediately.

Villagers received benefits related to health services, revenue documents and welfare schemes. Local representatives, including Block Pramukh Hema Negi, were present during the camps to ensure coordination and public participation.

Villagers Receive Welfare Benefits at Haridwar Outreach Camp

HIn aridwar, a public service camp under the “Jan Jan Ki Sarkar, Jan Jan Ke Dwar” campaign was organised at the Panchayat Bhawan of Justice Panchayat Naukragrant in Bhagwanpur block here.

Our correspondent adds that 35 public complaints were received during the camp, of which 20 were resolved on the spot. Under the supervision of Joint Magistrate Deepak Ramchandra, 16 beneficiaries were issued MGNREGA job cards, while labour cards of 10 workers were registered or renewed.

The social welfare department verified pension cases of four beneficiaries. Seventeen villagers received horticulture cards, seeds and saplings. Income, caste and residence certificates were issued to 18 residents, and four cases related to birth certificates and family register corrections were resolved. Health check ups and medicine distribution were provided to 21 people, while 29 others benefited from various welfare schemes.

Large Turnout at Uttarkashi Justice Panchayat Camp

Meanwhile in Uttarkashi, a public service camp was organised at Justice Panchayat Gundiyataon in Purola block of Uttarkashi district under the chairmanship of Sub Divisional Magistrate Purola Mukesh Chand Ramola.

Our Uttarkashi correspondent adds that more than 500 residents availed benefits from various government schemes during the camp. Income, caste and residence certificates were issued to 10 residents. Under rural development schemes, cheques worth Rs 5.50 lakh were distributed and 197 beneficiaries were covered.

The agriculture department distributed 34 small agricultural implements, while the horticulture department issued 18 horticulture cards. Health teams examined 77 people and provided medicines. Career counselling services were extended to six rural youth.

Multi Department Camps Held Across Nainital District

On the second day of the outreach campaign, multi purpose service camps were organised in Justice Panchayats Malhdhanchaud and Sirmoli in Nainital district.

At Malhdhanchaud in Ramnagar, a camp was held in the presence of Ramnagar MLA Diwan Singh Bisht and Additional District Magistrate Vivek Rai. In total, 79 complaints were registered, of which 70 were resolved on the spot. Medical teams conducted health check ups of 211 people and distributed free medicines.

Revenue officials issued income, residence, caste and character certificates to 90 residents. Aadhaar enrolment and update services were provided to 35 people. Twenty lactating mothers received Chief Minister Mahalakshmi Kits, while pension related forms were filled for 15 beneficiaries. Services were also provided to livestock rearers and dairy farmers.

At the Sirmoli Justice Panchayat camp, 23 complaints were received and mostly resolved immediately. Health and AYUSH departments conducted medical check ups of 109 people and distributed medicines. Agricultural tools, organic manure and livestock medicines were also distributed.

Over Thousand Villagers Benefit from Camps in Bageshwar

Meawhile service camps under the government outreach campaign were organised at Justice Panchayat Sainj in Bageshwar block and Justice Panchayat Uttaroda in Kapkot block of Bageshwar district.

Our correspondent here reports that more than 1000 residents benefited from various government schemes during the camps held under the chairmanship of Sub Divisional Magistrates Priyanka Rani and Anil Singh Chaniyal. Health check ups and medicine distribution were conducted for villagers.

Departments including cooperation, education, revenue, supply, panchayati raj, UREDA, social welfare, rural development, agriculture, animal husbandry, power, employment, child development and drinking water provided services to eligible beneficiaries.

Government Schemes Reach Rural Residents in Udham Singh Nagar

A public service camp was organised at the Panchayat Bhawan of Justice Panchayat Bigrabag in Biria area of Udham Singh Nagar district under the chairmanship of Additional District Magistrate Pankaj Upadhyay.

Six public complaints were addressed during the camp and a total of 210 residents benefited from various government schemes. Disability certificates were issued to eligible persons, Chief Minister Mahalakshmi Kits were distributed to beneficiaries, and cheques were handed over to women self help groups.

The camp witnessed participation from officials, local representatives and villagers, with emphasis on resolving issues at the local level and ensuring delivery of welfare benefits.

Officials said the campaign reflects the government’s commitment to responsive and citizen centric governance, with emphasis on reducing procedural hurdles and strengthening trust between administration and the public, our correspondent adds.
