The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heat wave conditions at isolated places over Jammu and West Rajasthan today.
Places over Delhi, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand, Punjab, West Rajasthan, East Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, and North Interior Karnataka are expected to witness a thundersquall or dust storm today and in the coming 2 days.
The weather department further forecast heavy rainfall and thunderstorms in parts of Odisha till tomorrow. IMD said that hot and humid weather conditions are very likely to prevail today over Gujarat, Saurashtra, Kutch, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Kerala.
The Met Department also forecast hailstorms in parts of Nagaland, Manipur, Meghalaya, Tripura, Odisha, and Uttarakhand.
