The India Meteorological Department, IMD has forecast dense to very dense fog conditions for a few hours in night and morning over many parts of Uttar Pradesh and in isolated pockets of Rajasthan till 30th January.
IMD said that dense to very dense fog conditions is also expected to prevail in isolated pockets of Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh till tomorrow and in Bihar till 30th of January.
On cold-day conditions, IMD said that cold-day to severe Cold day conditions are very likely to continue in isolated pockets over Bihar till Tuesday while in some parts of Uttar Pradesh, the condition will prevail till tomorrow.
Cold day conditions is also very likely to continue in isolated pockets over Uttarakhand till tomorrow. It has also forecast rise in minimum temperatures by 2 to 4 degree Celsius over many parts of Northwest India during next four to five days.
