Under the Aspirational District Program, Sampoornata Abhiyan started today in the Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar districts. Along with this, Sampoornata Abhiyan will also start in six Blocks of the state under the Aspirational Block Program. All Block level programs will start by Saturday.
Under this campaign, six different indicators have been conceptualized by the NITI Aayog at the district and block level respectively, for which Sampoornata Abhiyan is being run to achieve saturation.
Sampoornata Abhiyan will continue till 30th of September. At the district level, these indicators are related to health and nutrition, agriculture and education. At the Block level, indicators related to health, nutrition, agriculture and social development have been given priority.
