In Jangi Adda on Wednesday in Kathmandu, a few Gen Z representatives proposed the name of former chief justice Sushila Karki to lead the interim government.
In the late evening, slogans have started to be raised expressing dissatisfaction with the proposed name for the leadership of the incoming government. Many youths gathered outside and raised slogans against it.
Many other aspiring leaders have visited Jangi Adda in Bhadrakali, like the current Mayor of Dharan Harka Raj Sampang Rai met NA chief Sigdel as well as Durga Parsai met with Nepali Army Chief Ashokraj Sigdel.
But Parsai said he just went to discuss the current scenario in the country and wanted the civilian government to be acceptable to all, according to sources.
Popular leader Kathmandu Mayor Balendra Shah’s name too circulated on social media as a popular name among Gen Z but according to sources, Balan demand is to dissolve Parliament first, only after which he can consider to be part of the incoming government.
