Dhruv Baruah – Editor-in-Chief
A seasoned journalist with over two decades of experience, Dhruv started his media career in Guwahati before moving to Delhi. He has worked with reputed organizations like Encyclopaedia Britannica and Doordarshan News. After a sabbatical spent building his dream home in Uttarakhand, his passion for journalism and the state led him to launch Voice of UK. Having now adopted Uttarakhand as his home, Dhruv is committed to ensuring the region’s stories find their rightful place in national discourse.
In 2007, Dhruv also founded BharatHomestays.com, India’s first homestay-dedicated website, which was later acquired by a Singapore-based company in 2012.
Deepa Baruah – Founder, Unicorn Publishing Services
With over three decades of experience in education, journalism, and publishing, Deepa is a respected ELT expert and media professional. She founded Unicorn Publishing Services, which supports niche editorial projects like Voice of UK. The company is headquartered in Noida, with lean editorial bases in Uttarakhand’s Nainital district.
