Representatives from the Haridwar District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) attended the session and informed participants about free legal aid facilities, mediation services, and grievance redressal mechanisms available in the district. Police officers present assured the attendees that complaints from senior citizens would be prioritised.
Many participants expressed satisfaction at being able to directly interact with law enforcement and legal aid officials. Organisers stated that more such awareness drives would be planned in the coming months to ensure elderly residents are informed about their rights and available resources.
