A late-night scare gripped Ferupur village near Haridwar when a leopard was seen inside a local cowshed. The incident caused panic among residents but fortunately resulted in no harm to people or livestock.
Caretaker’s Quick Reaction
The cowshed caretaker reported hearing unusual noises and, on checking, saw the leopard moving near the cattle. He immediately raised an alarm, prompting nearby residents to gather. The leopard fled the scene before any confrontation occurred.
CCTV Captured the Incident
Security camera footage from the cowshed showed the leopard entering the premises during the night. The recordings have been handed over to forest officials for review.
