38th National Games to conclude today in Haldwani Uttrakhand

Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah will address the concluding ceremony of the 38th National Games in Haldwani, Uttarakhand today. 

Mr. Shah is expected to participate in the program this afternoon. All preparations have been completed to make the closing ceremony huge and grand to be held at the International Sports Complex in Haldwani.

In the 38th National Games this year, players from all over the country won 1 thousand 5 hundred 23 medals, which include 457 gold, 455 silver and 611 bronze medals.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the National Games on 28 January this year at Maharana Pratap Sports College in Dehradun.

Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Meghalaya Chief Minister Kongkal Sangma, Union Minister of State for Road Transport Ajay Tamta, Union Minister of State for Sports and Youth Affairs Nikhil Khadse and Indian Olympic Association President and MP Dr. PT Usha will be especially present in today’s closing ceremony.
